Advanced Phlebology Techniques

TARGET PUBLIC
• Interns qualifying for a postgraduate degree (DES) in Vascular Medicine and Surgery (final year, consolidation level),
• Vascular physicians / Angiologists
• Vascular surgeon,
• Vascular radiologists.

GENERAL AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Mastering the knowledge and skills required in all therapeutic techniques used in interventional phlebology, in order to be able to provide patients with the best possible personalised treatment.

Competences will above all bear on practice and techniques regarding:
• The basics,
• Sclerotherapy, ultrasound-guided in particular (Nancy),
• Thermal endovascular treatments.

Objective subgroups are:
• Mastery of the fundamentals of venous insufficiency and venous mapping,
• Mastery of the knowledge and skills required in foam sclerotherapy-echosclerosis (Nancy),
• Mastery of the knowledge and skills required for thermal endovascular treatments by laser and radiofrequency,
• Knowledge of venous surgery techniques,
• Knowledge of radiology techniques.

ORGANISATION
Number of simulation sessions per module:
The programme comprises five 1-day seminars held in different cities (Grenoble, Bordeaux, Amiens, Rennes and Nancy).
The Nancy seminar will take place on February 3, 2023.

• 70 learners
• 10 facilitators 

Cost

• In-Service Training: €2,000
• Initial Training (1): €1,300
• For participants on in-service training with a course exemption (1-3-4): €1,000
