Gastrointestinal Robotic Surgery

TARGET PUBLIC
Surgeons with a postgraduate degree (DES) in general surgery or a postgraduate degree in complementary specialised studies (DESC) in abdominal and gastrointestinal surgery.
OTNs and RNs working in operating theatres

GENERAL AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
• Acquisition of the theoretical and practical basics of the DA VINCI robot’s operation.
• Enabling experienced and newly qualified gastrointestinal surgeons and operating theatre nurses (OTNs and RNs) to acquire enough basic skills to carry out a number of robotic gastrointestinal operations successfully using the Da Vinci system.
